Editing
A few thoughts on editing.....
I have been a photographer and taking images for over 40 years. The tremedous amount of images I have acumulated over the years both with film and digital medium, numbers in the hundreds of thousands. Knowing what the best shots are, well that's an art well fine tuned over time, and to me is just as important as taking the picture itself. My experience over the years has showed me is that sometimes people have a difficult time choosing images of themselves, as I do of myself when photographed.
Slight variations in camera angle or body postioning, along with lighting and background changes, can make a person look very different. During a photo session, I like to move around alot and give out directions, along with having my client move and change their positions. My goal is to acheive a good variety of photos to choose from when I am in the editing phase. The way I am able to accomplish that is I shoot a variety of types of shots as the session progresses, from a tighter headshot to maybe a more reflexed three quarter look, or maybe a horizontal as opposed to a vertical. These are all split second decisions my eye and my brain make as to when to push that button on the camera.
So as far as editing goes, my clients can choose whatever images they like the best, but I always let my clients know what I think are my best images from the session, and it is usually a combination of good facial expression, good body and camera angle, and of course....good lighting,
Individuals
$400.00
One on one session with Paul for one hour, location can be client’s choice of outside or in my studio. All images from the photo shoot will be viewable in a private gallery on my website and I will supply you with all the high resolution files, either TIFF or JPEG, with any adjustments made if needed.
Couples
$800.00
A couples's session with Paul for an hour at any location discussed and agreed upon. I will make the images viewable in a private gallery on my website and will supply the couple with all the high resolution files from the photo shoot, with any adjustments made if needed.
Groups
$1000.00
Group and family sessions of any size with Paul either outside or in one of the studio locations offered. Outside is dependent upon weather conditons.. The images can be viewed in a private gallery on my website. I will supply the client all the high resolution files from the photo shoot, with any adjustments made if needed.
Kid's
$300.00
My kids’ package will include an hour session with Paul at any agreed upon location, the images will be viewable in a private gallery on my website. I will supply my client with all the high resolution files from the photo shoot, with any adjustments made if needed.
Pets
$450.00
Pets ……it can include a variety of different types of animals, mostly dogs and cats. A private one on one session in the studio with Paul and his assistant. Sessions can usually take about 90 minutes. The images will be viewable in a private gallery on my website and I will supply my client with all the high resolution files with any adjustments made if needed.
Drone
$200.00 an hour
Drone work, FAA 107 licensed pilot.
Hair and makeup available if needed for photo sessions at an additional cost.
